About Dave

Dave Creighton
"A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent."
----- General Douglas MacArthur
David hails from Chesapeake City, Maryland and currently resides in southwest Florida. He is a former United States Marine having served six years on active duty and two years in the active reserve force. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University having earned a BS in Technical Management-Logistics. Dave has two decades of experience in heavy Just-In-Time and Lean manufacturing in the automotive and defense industries at the assembly plant level in Newark, Delaware and York, Pennsylvania respectively. He also has eight years of experience in general aviation operations, at KTHV in Thomasville, where he worked part-time on weekends as he completed his two degrees.
He then spent seven years working in railroad locomotive service & repair operations management in the Chicago area before relocating to Florida where he further diversified his experience portfolio and worked in AOG and materials procurement for a Part 121 cargo airline. Currently, he has returned to his root in Defense & Aerospace working full time in contracted defense procurement helping to service and maintain the USAF KC-46A Pegasus and the USN P-8A Poseidon fleets. And when he's not assisting his wife with her career in real estate, you can find him cycling and hiking the Florida trails, tinkering with his vintage 1971 Plymouth muscle car or simply reading a good book. David is an avid armchair military historian. Having spent his military service in the armor field, he studies the topic of the German-Soviet war of 1941-1945 voraciously. His favorite authors on the subject are Robert Forczyk and Antony Beevor.
